Paris takes advantage of the Football Euro 2016 to innovate in the fields of hospitality and orientation of visitors.
In this respect, the City Hall of Paris established several solutions in the capital during the tournament. Some of these include last-generation connected terminals.
They provide information on nearby points of interests and events. They also inform on means of transportation and on the competition. Tourists can connect to them with their smartphone or tablet.
As of now, they are set up in 10 key spots in Paris: on the Hotel de Ville esplanade, Opera plaza, Madeleine plaza, République plaza, Bastille plaza, Panthéon plaza, Nation plaza, Stalingrad plaza, and near the Saint-Marin canal.
Jean-François Martins, Deputy Mayor, along with the companies that participated in the development of this tool will officially introduce it on Friday July 1, 2016 at 2:15 pm at 10 place de la Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement.
