4 distinct worlds
Polygone Riviera
The fruit of the minds of renown architects, the Polygone Riviera was conceived to blend within its environment with pedestrian streets, avenues of businesses, green spaces where over 1,200 trees were planted…
It is Jean Mus, a famous landscaper, and José Ignacio Galán Martinez, a renown urbanist, who conceived this center established at the heart of a 5 acres park and divided into 4 thematic zones.
Le Quartier des Saveurs (The Flavor Zone)
This zone immerses visitors in a Mediterranean and international atmosphere throughout twenty restaurants of cuisine from around the world in the “Dining Plaza” and its many terraces.
Le Quartier des Arcades (The Arcades Zone)
This part of the center is spread out over a large Italian style square and along an alley of sycamores. It gathers iconic and trendy brands such as Massimo Duti or Cos, throughout 71 stores.
La Promenade des Palmiers (The Palm Tree Promenade)
Devoted to hallmark clothing brands like Zara, H&M or Levi’s, this zone with 42 boutiques also carries a store from the famous American brand Forever21 that was only found in Paris until now.
Primark, the English clothing store with unbeatable prices will also open a store in this center zone in the Spring 2016. It will be the first Primark in the French Riviera and the 7th store in France.
La Promenade des Palmiers is also a zone dedicated to entertainment with a movie theater of 10 screening rooms, a casino that hosts shows all year long, and dancing fountains like in Dubai or Las Vegas.
The Designer Gallery
This section of the Polygone Riviera fuses fashion and culture throughout twenty boutiques including the major store Printemps, the first of its kind on the French Riviera.
But this zone is particularly devoted to designer stores, exclusive and trendy brands, such as the amusing By Colette, and a lounge space with lots of events pertaining to art.

A space devoted to contemporary art
Polygone Riviera - piece by Jean Michel Othoniel
The artwork of 11 French and international artists (Ben, Céleste Boursier-Mougenot, Daniel Buren, César, Pablo Reinoso, Wang Du…) were carefully selected by experts and dispersed in different areas of the Polygone Riviera.
Visitors can take a contemporary art tour to get to know all of these pieces thanks to a downloadable audio guide via the mobile application of the Polygone Riviera.
The most impressive artwork of the Center remains Le Guetteur, a piece by Sacha Sosno, that stands at the entrance of the site at over 22 meters in height. Sent from Italy in 18 distinct parts, this masterful piece of 15 meters in diameter was assembled in the span of 5 weeks at the site.
As the second sculpture from the same artist, the first being the Tête Carrée of Nice, Le Guetteur is composed of a 4 story-high black smoked-glass structure. The 2 bottom floors - in the sight of Le Guetteur - are home to a restaurant while the 4th and last floor houses the center’s management headquarters. From the 3rd floor, a panoramic terrace provides a 360° view on the French Riviera landscape.

A new urban and touristic dynamic
Polygone Riviera-Quartier des Arcades
The creation of this first outdoor shopping center contributes to a new urban dynamic for Cagnes-sur-Mer but also the entire French Riviera.
“The Polygone Riviera is an investment of 350 million euros that will have a long-term impact. It truly adds another string to our bow because Cagnes-sur-Mer has become a shopping destination when it wasn’t before - explains Sylvain Roger, Director of the Cagnes-sur-Mer Tourism Office - we are now entering the big league with this lifestyle mall concept that is unique in France and Europe.
Finally, on a more global scale, the Polygone Riviera improves the shopping offer of the entire French Riviera, which is a true driver towards an international clientele since shopping is the 2nd purchase trigger after beach resorts in our region.”

The first 4 star center of the South of France
Polygone Riviera-Promenade des palmiers
To obtain the 4 star label, which is an international recognition for shopping malls, the Polygone Riviera had to meet many criteria that include easy access to the center, clear labeling of the alleys, impeccable cleanliness, comfortable resting areas, a trained trilingual staff at the reception.
Also, there must be many free services available to clients: unlimited wifi; a mobile app to easily get around the mall or find one’s car in the parking lot; a Lounge space in the Designer gallery with a major play zone for children, a free-access magazine space, electric outlets to charge phones…
