Royal Jordanian airlines is looking for

an accountant H/F (Paris 8e)
 

with the following qualifications :

Tasks :

A) Revenue

- Cash deposit and control on daily basis and creation of receipts vouchers.
- Sales via account transfer which is controlled by accounts managers.
- Credit Cards collection for both sales office and BSP and follow up the chargeback.
- Credit Sales facility control and follow up (Bank guarantee and collection)
- Follow up stations debtors.

B) Expenditure

- Payables invoices

> Making sure that the purchase of the item was executed in full compliance with both: the approved budget, and the by law regulations.
> Verifying the compliance with the agreement/contract (if exists).
> Mapping the billed items to those that were requested and received.
> Checking the calculations.

- Recording the invoices on the correct accounts (proper allocation), then to pay these invoices.

- Reviewing the monthly expenses through expense trend analysis, expenses vertical and horizontal comparatives, cost driver test, etc...

- Maintain control sheets for the stations fixed assets.

C) Budget

The accountant must be engaged in the budget preparation process as he/she knows each cost item and what should be included under each category.

Work Experience : A minimum of two  years of  experience in accounting is required. Airline accounting is desirable. Experience of working for an international company is a plus.

Languages : French language ,  Fluency in oral and written English is required.
