The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Paris Île-de-France decided to associate with the development of the EuropaCity project, a new “leisure” destination of Greater Paris.
To do so, it implemented a 3 year convention that plans to contribute to the establishment of a training program, the creation of an expertise on business development, and the economic insertion of the project at a local level.
The goal is to foster job creation.
EuropaCity, associated to the building of the Grand Paris Express, should see the light of day in 2024, at the same time as the commissioning of the line 17. More than 30 million annual visitors are expected, including 6 million international tourists.
It will take the shape of an 80 acres neighborhood structured around the future station of the new metro. It will offer leisure, relaxation, and culture areas. But also restaurants, hotels, businesses, and a large urban park.
