As the Winter holidays are approaching, TourMaG.com and Vigimilia decided to provide you with a pricing benchmark on various destinations.
The cheapest loss-leader prices, mean rates, and tourism players are compared here during a set period of time.
We dissected two types of stays.
On one hand, the prices given in 36 ski resorts in France, in tourism residences and hotel clubs in basic rental for a capacity of 2 to 6 passengers.
And on the other, we zoomed in on the rates of stays and flights + hotels deals published online by tour-operators on Spain, Mauritius, and Dominican Republic. (See methodology in box below.)
For winter resorts, it is Travelski that generally comes up top with the least expensive players since it is cited 17 times on the week of December 19th, and 19 times on the week of December 26th.
The Ski du Nord au Sud also comes up quite frequently during those two weeks.

However, on the week of December 26th, Puy-Saint Vincent yields its spot as the cheapest ski resort to Super Besse (mean rate of €772), whereas Courchevel, with a median rate of €2,777, stays in the lead as the most expensive followed closely by Megève at €2,724.
For stays on the 17 studied destinations, Promovacances is the least expensive tour-operator on 7 destinations (Spain and Italy) on the week of December 19th, and it is 8 times on the week of December 26th.
In the Canary Islands, La Palma is the cheapest island during the two weeks of Christmas. As for continental Spain, Sevilla is the least expensive during that same period.
