“We do renovations every year. This is our grand-mother’s hotel that we acquired with my brother. It remains a family hotel even though it is over 50 years old.
My grand-mother had created it from a house that she bought, then she added a swimming pool and success came quickly after that,” explains Véronique Mougeot, Director of the Val Duchesse.
As for its infrastructures, the Val Duchesse has 24 studios for one to two people and 6 apartments that can host up to 4 people. All the studios and apartments have an equipped kitchenette and a small terrace.
“What clients appreciate is the authentic and personalized aspect of the facility: the drawings on the walls, the ancient furniture. We are quite the opposite of standardized hotels,” adds Véronique Mougeot.
