Tignes: free activities all summer long!

“Since 7 years, Tignes is shaking up the codes of the summer tourism offer in the mountains. Summer in Tignes is a true season: 60,000 stays over 10 weeks.

The summer activity is constantly progressing. In the last 7 years, the visitor rate increased by +36%. A success that is explained by the commercial offer established since 2009: activities are free, with unlimited and à la carte access,” explains Margot Sella, Manager of the Tignes Tourism Office.

The Sportignes Card is offered to every vacationer who has reserved at least one night in Tignes, no matter the length of the stay.

Around twenty activities are available: from the swimming pool to the “Crazy Air Bag”, along with others like the nautical base, multisports activities, tennis courts, Acroland, squash, air shooting, trampolines, mini-golf or archery, stand-up paddle board, blob jump…

The Bike Park Tignes - Val d’Isère is also accessible for free without conditions.

Getting to Tignes?

Driving
A430 Chambery-Albertville until Moûtiers then N90 until Bourg-St-Maurice, D902 until Tignes.
Distances to the station: 690km from Paris, 240km from Lyon, 130km from Chambéry, 165km from Geneva, 275 km from Torino.

Bus
Bus transportation is ensured on regular lines by coach departing from Bourg Saint Maurice, Chambéry or Geneva, Lyon or Grenoble airports. To reserve, visit the Tignes Tourism Office website.

Train
Daily trains, TGV, Eurostar, and Thalys arrive to Bourg Saint Maurice daily. It is the closest train station to Tignes (30 km in distance.) For a transfer to Tignes then take a bus or taxi.
