Now live for the 20th time, Passenger Terminal Expo 2014 has grown to become the world’s foremost exhibition in the sector showcasing the latest in terminal design, management, security and technology, with more than 150 exhibitors taking their stands to Fira Barcelona on 25 March 2014 for the 3-day event.
This year more than 3,500 visitors are expected through the doors, including CEOs, senior airport and airline executives, architects and suppliers all using this unique space as opportunity to see the latest technology and business specific developments showcased by more than 150 exhibitors.
New technology and product launches are expected this year from many of the industry’s key names including Siemens, NEC, Airnc, Beumer and Sita all with new products on show, designed to improve baggage handling, terminal seating, check-in process, passenger touch-points, ground-handling and operation tools.
Retail solutions, terminal management and operational products also feature highly at this key industry event.
Alongside the expo sits the Passenger Terminal Conference, now with over 250 speakers from the biggest names in aviation taking part, across the 3-day programme which once again, takes place in the Fira exhibition hall.
This year, the keynote speech opening the event has given by José Manuel Vargas Chairman and CEO of Passenger Terminal Expo 2014’s host airport authority, Aena Aeropuertos.
