The main courtyard of the Château d'Audrieu
Located only 2 hours from Paris and a few kilometers from the D-Day beaches, not far from Bayeux, the hotel was acquired early 2015 by the French group Caravelle.
Since November, it is under renovation to be transformed into a hotel that offers all of the modern comfort while preserving its 18th century architecture. The work consists in renovating the rooms and suites without denaturing the ambiance.
This major step in the new management of hotel will be the first component. A second phase of renovation will take place in the Fall/Winter 2016-2017 in order to build a Spa.
Samuel Srouji, Director of the Hotel Château d’Audrieu, is working with renowned architects and decorators. “This edifice is much more than a simple hotel, it is magical place that gives rebirth to History with its soul and grandeur. Indeed, this castle is gifted with an exceptional past since it was built by Guillaume Le Conquérant in the 11th century; before being altered in the 18th century to the appearance it has today.
Therefore, we will offer an authentic castle experience to our clients as they will enjoy a 4* establishment true to its original architecture and will discover the art of living à la française. Our castle is the place to be in Normandy!”

25 rooms and 4 suites
Composed of 25 rooms and 4 suites, the Château d’Audrieu also has a superb park, one of Normandy’s largest thanks to its 25 acres, and three meeting rooms including the honor lounge, with a capacity of around fifty people, for holding seminaries or meetings in a unique setting.
The companies who wish to exclusively rent out the entire castle for a seminar can do so. Other amenities include: a heated outdoor pool, valet service, and a conciergerie. But food lovers have not been forgotten!
Indeed, the Château d’Audrieu has a high-end gourmet restaurant. The brand-new menu of the restaurant that was recently renamed “Le Séran” was elaborated by the Chef Olivier Barbarin, Head Chef of the hotel’s kitchen since 2009.
